Our Ministers
“My goal in life, as well as ministry, is to do all that I can to get to Heaven and I’m trying to take all the souls that I can with me”.
Jonathan Jenkins
My wife, Heather, and I, married April 13, 2013. She was born and reared in Cedartown, Ga. I am from Cartersville, Ga.
The Lord has definitely blessed us beyond measure. We have two sons, Carson (11 years old) and Parker (9 years old). These boys have truly been a blessing in our lives. When we found out we were expecting Carson our lives changed.
We started seeking truth and focusing on building a life with the Lord. We became Christians on June 29, 2016. As parents, we will do our best to bring these boys up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). Our greatest desire and daily prayer is that these boys will become Godly men that love and serve the Lord.
I am a graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and grauated in 2019.
Aaron Ownbey
Aaron met his wife Lindsay in 2006, and the two quickly began dating. Just a few weeks later, Lindsay introduced Aaron to the Lord’s church. After several months of studying God’s Word, Aaron was baptized in 2007.
Aaron and Lindsay were married in 2010 and began serving together in the Lord’s work. After spending several years working with the youth at the Lithia Springs Church of Christ, they felt a strong desire to grow deeper in their knowledge of Scripture so they could have an even greater impact on the young people they encountered. This led them to attend the Memphis School of Preaching, where they further equipped themselves to teach and serve.
Aaron and Lindsay are blessed with two wonderful children, Jacob (12) and Karlie (8). As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, watching movies together, participating in sports activities, and fellowshipping with like-minded Christians.
